I’m a busy mother of two boys, I’m usually running back and forth from school pickups, to soccer practice, to tee ball, and then back home to make dinner.  Sometimes I feel like i’m living that movie Groundhog’s Day! For years I felt like I was missing something.

 I had been a very successful marketing professional before the kids were born, but being a stay-at-home mom was important to me and I had the luxury to do so, so I put my career on hold.

Getting back into the workplace was daunting, so two years ago I launched my very own cosmetics sales business which I operate from my home!  I’ve built quite a lucrative business, and the best part is that I can work when I want and where I want without employees, an office, or any of the typical business overhead that an entrepreneur would expect.

Look, I’m not going to sit here and act like this is easy and everyone can do it, and I’m also not going to act like there are no costs, because, yes, its a business and there will be a minimal startup cost (but less then $100 if you do this correctly).  It’s just like everything else, the more time and effort you put in, the more success you will have financially.  Here are a few questions, if you answer YES to them, then there is absolutely no reason why you can’t do what I did and build a successful online cosmetics sales business.

 1) Do you love cosmetics, makeup, and healthy/beauty products? Do you fancy yourself a bit of an expert amongst your friends (are you the one who’s really   good at   doing makeup? theres always one in every group!)

 2) Do you have a large social media following (lots of friends on Facebook and Instagram)? Do you enjoy engaging with others on social media?

3)  Do you have a big group of friends, or lot’s of acquaintances that you frequently chat with or network with in real life (social media is great, but the real   world still     exists you know)?

 4) Do you have a strong work ethic, and are you driven to succeed when things get tough? Do you have what it takes to be the boss?

 5) Do you have at least 5 hours a week that you can dedicate exclusively to your business?

1) What do you mean by Beauty Consultant?

I am an independent beauty consultant, and I work with various makeup  and skincare companies to  promote their products and help people like you build your own business.  You can do the same!

2)  What is the average upfront cost, and why is there an upfront cost?

There really is only an $85 activation cost to getting started, this covers paperwork and on-boarding, training, and your very own website…that is the only required cost to begin.   Since you will be selling skincare products to friends, families, and customers, we recommend  purchasing a base set of the products which you can use as samples to get the ball rolling. Again,  this is optional, but if you want to be successful you likely want to have samples on-hand to promote the products.

3) Building a business sounds daunting and I wouldn’t even know where to start.  Can I really do this without business experience?

Yes, anyone who has the drive to succeed can be successful with this program, because we offer structure and simplify the most complicated aspects of working for yourself.  You are paid as an independent contractor, so things like business licenses, filing corporate taxes, and all of those processes that usually come with starting a business aren’t an issue with this program, the structure is there, you just need to grab it and go!  We’ll even give you access to your own websites so customers can purchase from your online!

4) Who pays me commission for sales, do you?

Once you pick the brand you want to sell products for, you will be paid directly from that company.  These are major brands you have heard of and trust, and its comforting to know that these major corporations will be paying you directly rather then me!

5) This sounds great, but who’s going to be there to help me?

Me, I am!  Every year I choose 5 new associates who I mentor and help develop their sales business.  This year i’m taking 10 since things have gone so well the past few years.

6) How are you compensated?

Good question!  Because we are essentially building a team, we all help each other out. I am compensated  by the brands based on how many sales you (and my other teammates make).  it’s in my best interest financially for you to succeed and I will do anything I can to help you succeed!
